The album i have decided to research and write about is Rumors by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was released in 1977 and is the bands 11th studio album with a strong pop focus than previous albums made by the group. The album is about relationships, heartbreak, infidently and the emotional struggles that come with them. It is a raw and honest exploration of the personal lives of it's members, reflecting the emotional chaos they were living through at the time.  Background The band's early years were formed from a series of instability, lineup changes and shifting musical styles. Formed in London in 1967 by guitarist Peter Green, Fleetwood Mac originally played a blues-based sound. After Green's departure in 1970, the band eventually evolved into the classic lineup of Mick Fleetwood (drums), Christine Mcvie (keyboards, vocals), Lindsey Buckingham (guitar, vocals), and Stevie Nicks (vocals). Unit 3: Professional Practice

Image
What is professional practice? Professional practice is a term used to describe activities which will help you apply your knowledge to your industry, job role or workplace. Individual practice ( ways to improve practici ng): repetition, learn the structure, slow down the tempo, tutorials, record yourself and listen back, watch other people play them parts (cues), tune up, warm up. Task 1: Strengths- One of my most useful strengths are being able to learn and pick up a song pretty quickly. For example, this week my band has been playing Come as you are by Nirvana, and i was familiar with the song but didn't fully know it, and it took me exactly 25 minutes to learn the full song on the drums. Another strength i have is being able to improvise well on the drums especially when i'm playing with others and have to make something up as i go. Another strength i have is i am good at dynamics in a piece, for example when a fill on the snare goes from quiet to loud, i am good at portray...
