Title: Raye (Broken Record)

Duration: 52 minutes 45 seconds

Presenter: Justin Richmond

Guest: Raye

Topics covered: In this episode, Raye discusses how a quote from Nina Simone gave her the courage to take control of her career and she explains the inspiration behind her new multi-part single, "Genesis"

Why did i chose this podcast: I chose to do this podcast, because i am a fan of the guest, Raye's new single "Genesis" that is discussed in this podcast. I also was interested how Raye began in the music industry because she started around the same age as me and was signed by a record label at 17 and started writing for artists like Beyonce and Rihanna. I was also interested in hearing the inspiration between her music and hopefully gain some ideas for my own musical development.

How does this podcast relate to my own personal experiences and musical development?
